As you shop for Back to School items, remember that you can take this opportunity and think of the new school year like a New Year’s resolution.  Make this school year a great one with green style.

One of the single greenest things you can do is stop wasting paper lunch sacks and plastic bags.  Now is the time to invest in some reusable bags and containers.  These are some of my favorite:

~ PackIt lunch bags  These have the ice pack built into the bag!

~ Laptop Lunches   Very cool design

~ Pottery Barn Kids  Lunch boxes, bottles, and bags

~ New Green Products for Schooling

~ Try to purchase recycled paper.

~ Try to purchase and use non-toxic markers and crayons.
~ Look to reuse last year’s folders, binder, backpacks, and other supplies.  They may not last the entire year, but you could save over time.
